I know that a ring is just a thing...but I sure miss mine! It had so much sentimental value to me. Derek and I worked really hard to get to the place where we were ready and excited to get married. I loved my ring it was beautiful and completely fit me and my picky taste! I don't know how many prayers I have said and how many random things I have looked behind and under and in hoping it would just appear! I was sure that when we moved it would turn up but sense it hasn't I'm starting to feel its gone for good, and behind closed doors I've let quite a few tears fall. I don't want to seem shallow and materialistic, but it really meant a lot to me. When I leave the house now I wear a cheap fakey ring that turns my finger green and unless ya look close you prob wouldn't know it was fake. I'd really rather wear my real wedding ring though so if anyone ever comes across a ring in ephraim or anywhere that looks like mine, in a pawn shop, on someone elses finger :)...ANYWHERE...please please please let me know! The bottom right picture is how it looked right before it came up missing. It was originally a square cz but we changed it to a round so it wouldn't fall out.

After watching on the news, the all heart ache and loss Haiti is suffering, I was quickly reminded that my long day of onry kids and job stress is something I'm actually really blessed to have. Without words this picture sums up my biggest joy in life. These 3 beautiful people define me. Even though I occasionally like seeing myself as a hairstylist or an artist or a friend...The most fufilling thing I have in this world is my roll as a wife to my best friend and the mother to our beautiful daughters. This picture is just a little reminder to myself that I'm a darn lucky girl!

dear elves that make the toys...

Why oh why would you do this to me?
While I was checking out at Wal-mart today Rylee opened this stupid little set of a snow white polly pocket, that was so cleaverly placed on the bottom easy to reach shelf with a few other stupid toys in the checkout lane. I didn't notice til I had paid for my huge cart of stuff and had to hurry and have the cashier ring it up too, stupid waist of $5. Anyway after a little talk about what stealing was I let Ry have it when we got home. It came with 2 changeable dresses, and 2 pairs of chaingable shoes?! one blue pair and one red pair. why the heck couldn't the manufactures have just molded black shoes onto the actual doll that wouldn't come off? they would have matched both dresses just fine! instead i have searched the house a million times already today for missing mini shoes...one time it was what Taya was gaggin on. Ha thanks a lot elves!

AFTER LOTS OF RUSHED HOUSE HUNTING..WE FOUND THE PERFECT PLACE...AND THEN AFTER 3 TRIPS FROM EPHRAIM TO PROVO A FEW TEARS AND LOTS OF HARD WORK AND HELP FROM FAMILY WE'RE ALL COMFY AND MOVED IN! WE'RE ABSOLUTLY LOVING ALL THIS SPACE, ESPECIALLY THE GIRLS HAVING THEIR OWN ROOMS. TAYA IS FINALLY SLEEPING BETTER AND ONLY WAKING UP 1-2 TIMES A NIGHT. WE LOVE OUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND OUR WARD. DEREK STARTS SCHOOL THIS MONDAY...THE 11TH AND WE'RE SO EXCITED FOR THIS NEXT CHAPTER IN OUR LIVES! SO IF YA LIVE IN THE PROVO-ISH AREA THEN COME SAY HI!

US WITH OUR LAST LOAD OF STUFF LEAVING EPHRAIM. LIVING IN EPHRAIM HAS BEEN A BLESSING. SOMETIMES A BLESSING THAT BROUGHT A LITTLE HEART ACHE BUT STILL A BLESSING. I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THE TIME I HAD TO LIVE SO CLOSE TO MY PARENTS, BOTH TO REBUILD A RELATIONSHIP WITH MY MOM WHO I NOW CONSIDER ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS,AND ALSO TO BE CLOSE TO MY DAD AND HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE HIM IN A TIME WHERE HE IS IN SUCH NEED OF HELP. ITS HARD TO FULLY UNDERSTAND THE EXTENT OF WORK THAT GOES INTO CARING FOR MY DAD UNTIL YOU SEE HIS CIRCUMSTANCES DAY BY DAY AND HOUR BY HOUR. I HAD ALWAYS WISHED THAT DEREK COULD HAVE GOTTEN TO KNOW MY DAD BEFORE HIS HEALTH AND MIND DECLINED BUT I'M SO THANKFUL THAT HE AT LEAST WAS ABLE TO HELP CARE FOR MY DAD WHILE WE LIVED CLOSE. I KNOW THAT MY DAD ALWAYS APPRECIATED DEREKS PATIENCE AND LOVE. AT 17 I COULDN'T WAIT TO GET AWAY FROM MY PARENTS...NOW I MISS THEM AND BAWLED AS WE DROVE AWAY WITH OUR LAST LOAD. I'M SO THANKFUL FOR THE TIME I HAD BEING CLOSE TO THEM AND MY BROTHER AND HIS FAMILY. EVEN THOUGH WE'RE ONLY AN HOUR AWAY I'VE ALREADY CAUGHT MYSELF MISSING THEM

ANYWAY..HERES EVERYONE IN DEREKS FAMILY HELPING US WITH THE MOVE. THEY WERE SO GREAT TO JUST STEP RIGHT IN AND HELP WHERE IT WAS NEEDED. WE HAD A TON OF STUFF!
IT ONLY TOOK ME A COUPLE DAYS TO DECORATE...AND TODAY I HUNG UP THE VERY LAST BOX OF DECORATIONS. THIS IS RYLEES NEW BIG GIRL ROOM...I REPAINTED THE DRESSER WHICH WAS MINE GROWING UP AND THE BED WHICH WAS DEREKS GROWING UP. AND SENSE MY SEWING MACHINE POOPED OUT ON ME I ENDED UP HOT GLUING THE CURTAINS! OH THE THINGS HOT GLUE CAN DO! :)
RYLEES OLD STUFF TURNED INTO TAYAS NEW STUFF! I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW NICE IT IS HAVING HER IN HER OWN ROOM AND SLEEPING BETTER. WE'RE ALL A MUCH HAPPIER FAMILY WITH A LITTLE MORE SLEEP!
AND YES OUR ROOM IS...BLACK AND WHITE! (I KNOW BIG SHOCKER) COULDN'T HELP MYSELF WHEN I FOUND THIS BED SET FOR SO CHEAP!
THE GIRLS HAVE THEIR OWN "PLAY ROOM" WHICH IS REALLY JUST A BIG STORAGE CLOSET UNDER THE STAIRS BUT IT WORKS PERFECT FOR ALL THEIR TOYS...AND BEST THING OF ALL IT HAS A DOOR THAT HIDES THE MESS!
THEY'VE BOTH SETTLED RIGHT IN AND GOTTEN COMFORTABLE...
AND AS YA CAN SEE SO HAS DEREK! ANYWAY LONG POST ABOUT MOVING...AGAIN FOR MY "HISTORY" KEEPING :) THE POSTS BELOW HAVE A FEW MORE FUN PICTURES OF EVERYTHING WE'VE BEEN DOING WHILE I DIDN'T HAVE INTERNET! :)

THANK GOODNESS FOR SHINY SKIBBIES!

WE ARE VERY HAPPY TO SAY, THAT BECAUSE OF THESE... (RYLEES SHINY SKIBBIES)
THIS (THE SOGGY DIAPER BUTT) IS NOW A THING OF THE PAST...

...AT LEAST FOR RYLEE WHO IS FINALLY...

POTTY TRAINED! YAY!

AND WHO HAS ALSO FIGURED OUT HOW TO CHANGE HER OWN CLOTHES...WELL ALMOST, AND DOES THIS AT LEAST 5 TIMES A DAY!

IN THE 8 MONTHS AT OUR HOUSE WHERE I HAD 2 KIDDOS IN DIAPERS I SWORE THE DAY WOULD NEVER COME WHEN RYLEE WOULD BE POTTY TRAINED! I KNEW WITH HER BEING THE STUBBORN LITTLE GIRL SHE IS THAT PUSHING HER TO DO IT JUST WOULDN'T WORK. SO WE CHANGED DIAPER AFTER DIAPER AND GAGGED AT HER MAN SMELLING POOPY ONES WONDERING WHEN IS THIS GOING TO END! WELL WE LEFT RYLEE WITH MY MOM FOR THE DAY WHILE ME AND DEREK RAN UP TO PROVO TO HOUSE HUNT. SHE HAD SOME SHINY SKIBBIES ON OVER HER DIAPER WHEN I TOOK HER TO MY MOM CAUSE SHE WORE THEM WITH HER DRESS. ANYWAY WHILE WE WERE IN PROVO I KEPT GETTING CALLS FROM MY MOM WHO WOULD PUT RY ON THE PHONE TO TELL ME SHE HAD PEED IN THE TOILET. ALL DAY WITH MY MOM RYLEE DIDN'T HAVE AN ACCIDENT. SHE HAD INSISTED ON WEARING THE SHINY SKIBBIES SO MY MOM TOLD HER SHE COULD ONLY WEAR THEM IF SHE PEED IN THE TOILET...AND THATS ALL IT TOOK! ONCE SHE WAS READY SHE WAS READY AND SHE'S ONLY HAD 3 ACCIDENTS AT NIGHT TIME SENSE THAT DAY WHICH WAS THE MIDDLE OF DECEMBER. YAY NOW WE ONLY HAVE THE BOOG IN DIAPERS...I'LL BE SHOWING HER THE SHINY SKIBBIES A LOT SOONER THEN RYLEE :) (SORRY FOR THE LONG POTTY TRAINING STORY...HAD TO HAVE IT FOR MY JOURNAL :).

Oh the wonders December did bring!

We hung up pretty lights for all to see...

and had picnics on the kitchen floor cause outside was too snowy!
spent time with our buddies before we had to move...
and helped our bonka find a new groove!
Rylee gets curls for church while little bald taya is out
We sat on santas lap and learned that we better not pout!
We played in the snow late into the night

and then drove through the most amazing lights!
taya gave kisses to skye, found chocolate, and found out my curling iron was hot :(
and the laughs our rylee gave us were as usual A LOT! :)
Time spent with Daddy is always the best...

We have a happy little family...we really are blessed!

ok so thats the extent of my ryming tonight... the rest of the pictures are of Christmas which we spent in lovely Rangely!
Our sweet Taya Boog had her first Christmas! I can't believe she's already 9 months old now!

Rylee was in absolute HEAVEN! when she found the "dollies" she had asked santa for! she got spoiled by everyone else too. It was fun to see her open stuff and actually understand and be excited to get presents.
The 3 granddaughters on christmas morning
Derek and Papa took the girls around on the fourwheeler. Rylee was in heaven when derek let her "drive" the fourwheeler and push the gas. She honestly has no fear. He was doing donuts with her and she'd squeel and then make motor cycle sounds and tell him to go faster.
The girlies after bath time all in their cute heart pjs. They were so fun together. Rylee was little miss boss (which half the time drove me nuts) i had to keep reminding her she's not the mommy! and Makayla was a little busy body, reminding me a lot of how rylee used to be...and then Boog...well she was boog, mellow and sweet :)

We of course had to go SLEDDING! which has always been one of my absolute favorite family tradition so I love that Dereks family does it too! Rylee was once again fearless and went down a few times on the little tube all by herself!
And heres all of us...which isn't a regular thing so these kind of pictures are always special! Merry Christmas!
