For THIS! :)
Thanks to some awesome friends of ours Derek and I got to go on a free little get away to Park City for a night. After a rough and sad month especially for me, this break from life/work/money/dishes/and yes even our pretty little girls, was just what we needed! We didn't do a ton but we did manage to eat a TON! We rode the zip line, swam, attempted a go at dance dance revolution, gave up and went to our beautiful room and just RELAXED! I couldn't help but think of my Dad as we sat out on our little balcony overlooking the mountains. It was beautiful and I felt so blessed to be there. We're so lucky to have the wonderful people we do in our lives! This definatly was a good thing that came our way.
For any of you who know me well, you know that tub was my dream come true! I LOVE baths! The whole room was amazing, full kitchen, tv room and huge master suit. The shower even turned into a little steam room. It was pretty much amazing :)
In the car today Rylee asked me when I was going to get married. I told her I already was married to her Dad. She said oh yeah, well who do I get to marry? I told her you gotta marry your best friend, to that she said, oh ok I'm going to marry Jory then when I get bigger like you. I thought it was so cute and as I sat and thought about it tonight, I couldn't help but feel a little sentimental. I definatly married my best friend. It doesn't matter if we're doing something crazy and laughing til our sides hurt, or if we're just relaxing together in a quiet room. Theres nobody in this world I'd rather have by my side, through all the fun and not so fun times life brings. I'm a lucky girl to have Derek and I know he feels the same about me. Long post short, Park City was wonderful!
